Yeah I do believe that everyones got their own style but everyone knows of an art teacher (at least one) who expects you be perfect with your art..."THAT'S TO CARTOONY" or "IT LOOKS LIEK ANY-MAY!!!!" which I hate quite abit. Maybe that's why I hate my art...

Sorry to say, but if an art teacher is dissing your art because it "embodies a style too much", that just proves the teacher is too ignorant and intolerant of art to teach it to anybody. If anime is what inspires you, then go for it and don't let some bitter art critic wannabe stand in your way.
